We are pitching SRU as softball’s “diamond in the rough”. Both on and off the field, softball is a superstar at Slippery Rock University, from its Grade A facilities to its game-changing athletes. With one of the top school-specific complexes in the Pennsylvania State Conference, the University has trained some of the most grand-slam players in the region, including its 2023 women’s team, which placed 17th on the NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) All-America Scholar-Athlete list. If that doesn’t impress you, come and take a swing over home plate yourself!

To ensure teams are separated into divisions where they will be competing against teams of similar skill levels a Round Robin will set teams into Division “A” or “B” followed by a double elimination tournament. 10-person teams with a 20-person maximum roster. Teams will compete in 7-inning games with game times limited to 1 hour 30 minutes.
