DATE: July 17-18, 2024
TIME: 9:00 AM (both days)
Are you a sharpshooter, and what sets you apart? If you unload your pistol at Butler City Hunting & Fishing Club, you might just be a master marksman. Take the “high ground” in the Club’s exemplary outdoor ranges, testing the timing and speed of your shots. If you find your handgun to be your only sidekick, you’ll find fellow gunners and sporting pals in the pistol leagues this iconic East Butler Club facilitates. Either way, don’t forget your ammo!
The Police Pistol Combat (PPC) sporting event is shot on an NRA B27 target from varying distances from 7 yards to 50 yards and in varying positions using a handgun and duty-specific equipment. PPC is shot from a static position and requires knowledge and training in the PPC shooting sport. This individual event is designed to be shot with non-modified handguns, equipment, and ammunition that is standard issue or similar. Firearms, triggers and trigger weight may be examined and measured prior to the event. The competitor will require 150 rounds for the individual event and is shot in 5 stages. The competitor is responsible for their own firearm, equipment, and ammo. Competitors must be “qualified” (i.e. some type of formal training for safety purposes) with their firearm and equipment.
