If you are about to engage in a 150-round course of fire, the right training and ammunition will only get you so far. At Butler City Hunting & Fishing Club, your aim will sharpen from the best facilities in the County, and your shots will find their target. With a stunning outdoor range as well as a scope of pistol leagues, this high-caliber East Butler sports club packs heat!
This is a 150-round course of fire that is designed to enable competitors to use firearms and equipment similar to that of an operational sworn police officer. This includes both firearms and duty rigs (belt, magazine pouches, and duty belt) and is designed to compete on an even playing field. In the spirit of skills and marksmanship, only practical handguns and holsters that are suitable for police duty will be permitted.
This course of fire is restricted to semi-automatic pistols issued by recognized law enforcement agencies and holsters must be of Level II retention. The general rules of competition will primarily follow those in the National Rifle Association and Canadian Police Combat Association Rules. Competitors must supply their own ammunition of at least 150 rounds. Eye and ear protection is mandatory and shall be worn at all times. Competitors must be “qualified” (i.e. some form of formal training for safety reasons).
