CrossFit will demand your ultimate performance, testing everything from your endurance and stamina to your flexibility and endurance. It will push you to lift as much weight as possible, all while driving you to complete as many rounds in the least amount of time; but, don’t let that intimidate you, because YBF (You’ll Be Fine) at CrossFit Recreate (CFR). Far more than your typical gym, CFR in Butler is a driven community of passionate coaches and equally passionate clients who, together, will challenge you to succeed. This professional fitness facility offers everything from expert personalized coaching and nutritional instruction to Olympic weightlifting classes that will have you pushing through that last rep!
CrossFit is a sport in which athletes will be tested through all fitness domains. This includes Cardio Endurance, Strength, Stamina, Speed, Flexibility, Power, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. In this event, athletes will be put through 4 tests within a 1-day period. These tests will include:
A) “For Time”- set amount of work/repetitions done for time
B) AMRAP (as many repetitions as possible)- in a particular time frame
C) Strength- maximum weight lifted
The scoring will be determined by not who wins each event, but by who is best throughall events.
