There’s no “corn-fusion” about it. Slippery Rock Golf Club & Events Center is the spot for you and your team of two to face off in some friendly competition. A historic landmark of Butler County, the golf course was formed from three local farms nearly a century ago, and today, it is Slippery Rock’s iconic recreational hub with a pro shop, driving range, bar and banquet facility, as well as a restaurant and lounge; these, of course all complement the Center’s well-groomed and glossy green fairways, rolled out to welcome you and your pals for your next outdoor skirmish!

This is a two-person unisex event where teams compete against one another until a winning team is determined by reaching 21 points. The first team to reach 21 points is the winner. You can go over 21 – you do not have to have 21 points exactly.

RULES OF PLAY: Each team will stay in their designated lane for the whole game. Players need to throw behind the front of the board. If the player crosses the line – that bag will be disqualified. Players must stand on opposite ends from each other so as to allow each team to have an inside thrower and an outside thrower. Players at the headboard will alternate pitching bags until each player has pitched all four of his/her bags. Players at the footboard will take score and resume pitching back to the other board. The top of an inning is completed when both players pitching from the headboard pitch all four bags; the bottom of the inning is completed when the remaining players pitching from the footboard pitch all four bags.
