The 2024 Can-Am Police-Fire Games will be held in Butler County, PA on July 15-21. Can-Am Police-Fire Games is a multi-sport, Olympic-style event that features traditional sports and competitions that include skills used in first responders’ day-to-day work. The Games will have competitors from Fire and Rescue, Law Enforcement, Emergency Medical Service Providers, Homeland Security, Border Patrol, Corrections Officers and other first responders along with their spouses and children over 18. The Can-Am Games are expected to see more than 1,000 participants from the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Canada.

HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS CAN WE EXPECT?
Typically between 800 to 1,000 competitors plus spouses and/or families attend the Games. Eligible participant spouses, adult children (over age 18) and their spouses, are also eligible to compete.
HOW MANY EVENTS CAN I PARTICIPATE IN?
Athletes can participate in as many events as they would like! In the 2018 edition of the Games, athletes participated in an average of 4 events per person.
WHO CAN COMPETE?
All sworn Federal, State/Provincial, County, Municipal and Military law enforcement officers, weight control officers, corrections officers and dispatchers employed by a law enforcement agency (male or female, active or retired) are eligible. Police reservists and cadets who have 180-days of continuous law enforcement service, have received formal training in law enforcement and have powers of arrest are eligible.
WHEN CAN I REGISTER?
Registration is expected to open in October 2023.
